  1. There is quite simply No. Greater. Winner. in the history of team sports than Bill Russell. Henri Richard may have won 11 NHL championships but he wasn't the calibre of player on his team that Russell was on his. Bill was an all-time great, and an even better human being for his work off the court. Losing him and the trailblazer of trailblazers for black women in TV in Nichelle Nichols on the same damn day is a huge gut punch 😒 May they both rest in peace.
