My guess is that as the economy continues to slow down due to higher interest rates the demand for oil will go down but the oil producers will slow down their production to keep the supply low enough to match the demand and keep the prices from dropping too much.

We, the tax payers, filled the national reserve for less than $50 per barrel. Biden took it out and sold it for more than $100 a barrel. The oil reserve which is held for national emergencies ie war, is at an all time low and you the tax payers will have to fill at $100+ per barrel if you can buy it at all. I guess we will have to do the war thing on sunny or windy days.
