NBC News’ Janelle Griffith reports on how hair-related discrimination disproportionately affects Black people and why students are pushing for the Senate to pass the law. Black Students Push Congress To Pass Crown Act To Prevent Hair Discrimination
source
This is just another way for blacks to sue and get money. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
They're about repeal affirmative action!
There is no hair discrimination. If you choose to spend 3,000 a month on a new wig installation, nobody is stopping you. None of you are royalty.
Tired of being segregated by skin color? Democrats are reliable racists

These color always want to be the first for everything
This act is good thing! Those who have never experienced such discrimination would never understand it. Simple as that.
If you want to walk around colorful as a clown so be it. Just don't expect everyone to welcome you with open arms. Unless the circus is in town. Oh and it should be named the clown act not the crown act
Omg.

Too many times someone has overstepped their authority and made someone change their hairstyle to be able to achieve something. If it has to become a law to make a point, make it.
Really ?
MEANWHILE…in the bone-dry deserts of Sudan where flies are eating-off the retinas of poor hungry-humans dying from starvation
That is a ridiculous law, what else are they going to go against, how many tattoos or earrings we have. Those law makers are morons.

This is why democrats are losing the working class, and a media that gives them the narrative…
I'm not in any way disregarding this as a problem.
But just step back and take a look…"
Color aside, how can you call it discrimination when it's not even their real hair? It's all fake. If you can't grow your own hair that long then you don't need it! If it's not natural to the person's race then it's not discrimination.
Joy Reid can't grow any….baldhead beast.
I think that is excellent that the court system is doing that!!ππ
If all the things black Americans cry about , now it's thier hair that they are worried someone would discriminate , Jesus please give everybody a breakπ’
I know people will think this is a non story, but it's important for natural hair in particular to be discriminated against. Not everyone knows what that feels like
