This is an unconstitutional stop. The so called law enforcement officers couldn’t maintain the law and unconstitutionally raided the vehicle. If law enforcement cannot operate within the law during its investigations law it/This degrades the law and the law enforcers. This happens to many people across the country and it needs to stop now. When you violate the contract with Americans it angers people and is contributing to destabilizing tendencies Across America. It’s Unamerican. There was no legal reason to stop that bus. I hope that there are serious consequences to these hoods violating our laws.
Well Delaware is listed as the most racist state in the United States. So no big surprise! Most thinking people would find this an unlawful stop and search.
Disgusting! The cops need to get fired and the Georgia county they worked for fined,sued and forced to retrain all their officers. Unconstitutional stop and search civil rights violation. This is 2022 not 1962!
they can search for drugs if they have a reason or a warrant. but i didnt hear anything that sounds valid for this stop. are buses for university students covertly carrying drugs across the state ? i dont think should have searched their bags. i think its an invasion of
privacy , an illegal search and i think they need a warrant and probable cause.
Maybe the coach should ask the cops if they care, even a little bit, if they made the players feel terrified, or helpless or gave some of them PTSD – because I bet, if they're actually being honest (a very rare things these days for cops) and not having any cameras around – they will say NO. They don't care even a little bit and in fact they enjoy the idea of them placing fear in the hearts and minds of those they very appeartly look down upon. Here we come, fast getting back to living in the 1810's – I'd assume women will lose the right to vote soon as well. Sad, just soooo sad.

You are under no obligation to help them as they investigate YOU; that's called incrimination if you do! Invoke your 5th Amendment rights, just keep your mouth shut and don't answer questions no matter how irate they get or how many threats they make! All of their good ole' boy sweet talk at the front of the bus is an attempt to manipulate you into justifying THEIR illegal acts.
You also have the right to invoke your 4th Amendment Rights. You are under no obligation to consent to a search of your property. Memorize your 4th Amendment rights. BTW, video of this travesty clearly shows that your 4th Amendment rights were blatantly VIOLATED by these Gov't funded THUGS! Sue the whole lot of them NOW!, Be prepared, they're gonna' say that these THUGS followed policy – SO WHAT! Policy is NOT law! Screw their poorly formulated policies for which they shall be held liable. Remember, their Union, the Fraternal Order, their DA and prosecutors along with their Malevolent (yeah, that's right) Association, friend, family, and sympathizers will try to will try to protect them from accountability and cover-up the violations of your Constitutional Rights; especially because of you family history and physical appearance! They will obstruct justice, and prolong / prevent any speedy trial as this is litigated. You know their playbook. DO NOT LET THAT COLUSION HAPPEN! Officer or deputy in charge should’ve stepped up after figuring out it is a bus full of girls athletes traveling to or from a game and Cut them loose. They all should be disciplined. This is a prime example of law enforcement fishing.
I see some cops that are about to be unemployed. Furthermore, once they crossed the line and violated Rodriguez v. United States (3-9972 – 2015) they lost their Qualified Immunity which leaves the officers themselves on the hook for any compensatory damages awarded for the forthcoming lawsuits. The Rodriguez ruling states that it is a violation of your 4th Amendment rights to unjustly prolong a traffic stop without Reasonable Suspicion. Furthermore, the only information the officers were entitled to was the Driver's License, Registration, and Proof of Insurance from the OPERATOR of the vehicle. Passengers have no legal obligation to provide identification to LE officials conducting a traffic stop, nor are they required to assist the police in their investigation.
They began searching bags BEFORE the K9 Officer arrived at the scene. This was a garbage stop by garbage cops, and it'll cost them their jobs and likely result in a sizable settlement in favor of DSU, the athletes, et al.
I understand that the majority of folk below the Mason-Dixon line licked a lot of lead paint as children. Many of them are either bigots or developmentally delayed.
Even if we assume there was no racial profiling, what was the justification for the search (of which there is video proof that it indeed happened).

Georgia Code actually says the term “truck" means “any vehicle equipped with more than six wheels, except buses and motorcoaches.”. This officer does not even know the law, why is he a supervisor? Dog alerted? No the dog did not alert, or they would have found drugs. Just listening to that fool was sickening.
