I live in Buffalo ny. Shame on the Mayor and the County Executive for blaming non essential vehicles being in the road. You should've had the City shut down the night before. We all knew this storm was coming yet everyone still had to go to work. People didn't get sent home until it was too late. Those were the people that were on the roads. I was one of them and my job made us go in then send us home when the storm already hit. I was fortunate that I didn't have far to drive but others weren't as lucky. SHUT THE DAMN CITY DOWN THE N I GHT BEFORE THE NEXT TIME A BLIZZARD IS FORECASTED

Sincere Condolences to all the people that have lost loved ones through these severe weather conditions. we had another once in a century storm for the third year in a row.

most of buffalo lives paycheck to paycheck. we dont get more food till we get that check and getting payed on Fridays and people not being able to cash/receive their check you are going to have desperate people looking to drive to get food you are going to have looting. not to mention the set up of buffalo is set up stupidly. some places you have to walk hours to get to a grocery store and that's in dry conditions. in a 0 visibility blizzard it could take 6 not to mention risking your life.
Never underestimate mother nature
Just a small price to pay to not have to deal with a large homeless population.
