The crew (if crewed) would have sustained multiple and serious injuries.
Looks like a failure to me, it’s even called a mishap, but they say the flight went as intended, the capsule landing was hard.
Hate to see it fail, but love to see the survival mechanisms work outside of a planned test
This was a CATASTROPHIC failure that occurred at Blue Origin. It must be acknowledged as such.

Well, this is the point of iterative testing, you get data even if it “fails”, figure out what went wrong and try to fix it for next time
it was like watching fox channel. there goes, perfect launch and its into space, well almost, this has been a test of the emergency deployment capsule, went exactly as planned, bye for now.
Meanwhile, back at SpaceX……

It was sort of nice to see that even if things were to go wrong the crew would be able to survive.I grew up in different times and when I watch the launch of a rocket I am always thinking about it even though I don't want to.
