I don’t support police blindly and I disagree with their tactics and practices in a lot of situation, but in this case all these edited for views videos are just warped perception on something that didn’t have to be warped. They saw a bus driving on the left lane (not allowed here in GA) and stopped it to check. The, per usual, they brought a canine. Also, it was a bus coming from Florida on 4/20 and then they found out it was almost full of college students which is technically the perfect situation to maybe find a little something like weed. Then the dog alerted so they had to search. Found gift wrapped in brown paper bag inside a gift bag and the lady didn’t know what it was because her aunt gave it to here here in GA before going to FL and then heading back to Delaware. She didn’t know so they had to open it. Even offered to wrap it back up if she still wanted to be surprised. They open the wrapping with care not ti break it, see what it is and that’s shanked wrapped and left it alone. They put it back in the brown paper wrap and closed it again and then put it back in the gift back. It was not a dictionary; it was a book safe (those safe stile boxes that looks like a book). That was it. They driver got a warning and was told to not use the left lane. Nothing else.
The only reason this is on the news is because maybe one or two white girls had their bag searched. Black people deal with this daily and y’all still back the blue. FOH.
So if the canine “supposedly” sniffed out drugs where were the drugs? Maybe the canine got a hit off one of the officers?!!!

The dog showed up after they started their search, so that can't be the probable cause to start a search.
Also, studies have shown drug dogs are wrong about 60% of the time and are often deliberately trained to give false hits if their handler gives them a signal.
law enforcement are officially a terrorist gang no different than crips or bloods. much more organize and funded but a gang non the less with no morality at all. be ready for them and dont give in, fight.

I believe the officer had probable cause under suspicion that the bus occupants were “living while black “. Just another bigot cop in America. Sees a group of dark skinned people and thinks to himself “I know one of them has drugs”. Pathetic!
I guess constitution laws don't apply to black and brown except the 13th amendment.
I bet this was a typical contextual stop so they could check for drugs. The dog probably alerted for drugs before it even arrived on site. Just feel lucky then didn't find any money or they would have taken that under asset forfeiture laws.

Drug sniffing dogs who are trained to alert on command to give false positives are used as a way to skirt 4th Amendment rights.
