Bring back a bracero-type program where workers are rotated in for jobs, say 18 months. Give them a severance package and plane ticket home! Although not cheap, this will be tons cheaper than the zillions going to border agents, courts, police departments, jails, social services,etc. This “intractable” crisis can be solved if both parties are willing.
This man is a liar: Democrats want a secure border but this crisis is not caused by humanitarian assistance but by profiteers who take advantage of desperate people and our long borders.

Why would President Biden put forth immigration legislation on his first day in office, when the border figures were at multi low levels in years? Why did President Biden cancel all the Trump executive orders when they assisted the immigration laws on the books and helped to create low levels of border crossings?
When you talk to border officials with years of experience ( the professionals ), they indicate that the border was under control during the Trump administration. Under the Joe Biden administration they say the border is in crisis. Did they get together and make up a lie to embarrass Joe? Or are they speaking truthfully, with their years of experience dealing with border crossings.
The immigration numbers do not lie, Joe Biden’s immigration policies are failing. When you have a crisis and refuse to acknowledge the issue, your poll numbers will usually be low. This either means the voters are ignorant and do not understand the situation, which implies the President should be out campaigning and educating the American people on the truth of the matter.
Or maybe it means the President is on the wrong side of this issue. If this is the case, then changes need to be made. Maybe Joe is “hard-headed”, stubborn, and resistant to change at his age. In this case, his advisers should again have him on television, social media, or talking to reporters and explaining why it is in the best interest of the nation to allow 6-8 million “illegal immigrants” to enter in a short period of time.
Most immigrants are not bad people, they just do not have the proper paperwork to show the legality of their being allowed in this country. Joe, you have so flooded the immigration system that their court case will not be heard until 4-7 years from now. This goes against the concept of a speedy court trial written in the U.S. Constitution. It is unfair to the immigrant and the American people. Basically, you screwed all your constituents and the people you were trying to help. In baseball, we call it “hitting a “double bagger.” Congratulations.
My impression is that your immigration policy, has caused numerous governors and mayors difficult problems, caused the US to effectively have an “open border” with large areas having no protection from criminals and terrorists, has created very difficult situations in already overburdened school districts (many immigrants do not speak English), overwhelmed many hospital systems, increased dramatically the chance of new diseases entering our country, increased the strain on the resources of many localities, which in turn lowered the quantity and quality of services available to the citizens of that locality, and created tent cities in many cities, destroying their beauty and livability. Many more issues could be explored, but suffice it to say that the list is long enough.
So Joe, hit the trail and explain why your immigration policy is good for the country. America’s eager ears are waiting for answers, especially during this election year. Don't’ really care for your MAGA rants and your talks about Democracy ( just look at the sweetheart deal your justice dept tried to sucker a judge with). Let’s talk about your record!
