The markets have no confidence in clown Boris as the didn't with clueless Liz. Boris is a clown and a showman. All he did was get Brexit done!That's it. Nothing more. What has Brexit done? Did they get a good deal through! He does not know finance and made a mess of the country. He is so self-serving. The question is what would bring confidence to the market? The answer is Rishi Sunak.The UK market and the world has no confidence in Liz Truss and Boris. Yes, Sunak is rich. Yes, he will increase tax for the rich, but he is the only person who can take care of the poor and the less rich. He devised the furlough scheme which was badly needed by the UK and it was adopted by many countries. He is the only intelligent one, the one who could win the election in 2 years time as the public would prefer a leader who can improve the economy!! Not someone who has showmanship talent and continuously lies and goes for holidays whilst the country is in turmoil, and has no idea of economics. Boris also endorsed the clueless Truss. Penny Mordaunt is equally clueless as Liz Truss. Penny supported Liz's unfunded tax cuts, the policies that brought the country down. The conservatives have continuously chosen useless ministers to be their leader. All they do is select unintelligent, useless minister to be the leader, as long as their own politcal interest and cabinet portfolio is secured. They don't care about the country or the economy. Totally dissappointing!!!!!!

Fools are those who prefer Rishi over Boris the latter who is an experienced politician of many years and with an impressive portfolio including as Foreign Secretary, an outstanding legacy as a civic and community worker ( as witnessed by his work as London Mayor ). As UK PM he took the country out of Brexit, through the COVID crisis and on the humanitarian front threw his support behind Ukraine. He and only he can take Tories forward to the next GE and beyond as in the last whereby he procured for the Tories the biggest majority in 30 years ! More importantly and significantly, Boris – unlike Rishi – is a man of the people who was elected fairly and democratically by the Nation back in 2019. Rishi is certainly not a man of the people and if he were to be made Prime Minister it would be in complete contravention and violation of all democratic norms !
Coming to Rishi, let us not forget that he squandered £11 billion worth of taxpayers' monies as Chancellor. He gave billions of pounds away in toxic loans to businesses for COVID bounceback initiatives. He raised taxes and inflation to the highest levels in living memory from which the UK economy is currently beset ( with inflation in some cases skyrocketing to a massive 18%). He acquired the reputation as the worst Chancellor of Exchequer of all time. Yet all this while Rishi and his wife were living a highly ostentatious lifestyle splashing out on new multi million pound tennis courts and swimming pools at their mansion. What utter hypocrisy ! This man raises taxes forcing 200000 more families in the UK into poverty and creating the worst cost of living crisis in the UK in modern times while hiding his assets and his wife's in offshore havens and while continuing to live extravagantly in unabashed fashion.
Rishi failed to disclose his Green Card when he took ministerial office realising, as he must have, the major conflict of interest involved. He failed to disclose his wife's taxable income ( how could she be non domicile when living in the UK permanently with her family including 2 UK born daughters) and to this day has failed to be transparent as to the amount of funds he has stashed away in his offshore accounts. This is a man supposedly endowed with great academic and intellectual abilities, an economist and a banker and yet who makes such major misjudgments, miscalculations and oversights with his wife's and his own finances. I think he lacks the maturity, integrity, experience to become a Prime Minister of the UK. He also has no gratitude for the man who made him into a Cabinet Minister and certainly no loyalty. He is just as culpable as Boris Johnson of supposedly improper behaviour ( he was also fined for breach of COVID protocols and as far as honesty and transparency is concerned Sunak is no saint). On what basis thus did he resign from Boris' cabinet ? What were the moral reasons ? Of course with utmost cunning and deviousness he had already planned his strategy to backstab like Brutus his Caesar, to bite the hand that fed him.
I think Rishi is better off going to India and taking up an appointment with his father in law ( through whom it appears he made most of his fortune as a hedge fund manager in his father-in-law's and wife's Catamaran financial company – God knows and fears what results he produced for the investors there ).
Rishi is a man of many contradictions ; reminding others of his humble East African Asian origins ( whose ancestors most likely came as menial workers and labourers from India during British colonial rule ) and yet boasting of his Winchester and Oxford education, association with aristocrats and dissociation with Working Classes. He is anything but upper class and certainly those of good class and education besides possessing impeccable blood lines, breeding and manners, possess humility, empathy and temperance too.
Rishi is imprudent in more ways than those concerning finances ; he wants to target Islamic extremism at a time when these matters are anachronistic, he wants to make laws to prosecute individuals who vilify the UK which fly in the face of democracy, free speech and human rights.
I think Rishi is unfit to be Prime Minister of the UK. He is immature, too complaisant and still wet behind the ears ; he has been a politician for just 7 years and in that time only held one portfolio and of that he made a complete and utter mess.
Favorite by the Tories, favorite by the UK's (foreign owned) media, but definitely NOT favorite by the people.

From a german perspective I find so many parallels between the state Britain and the USA are in. The (ex) leaders of both countries present a danger to our all democracy and our values, which brought as so far. Johnson and Trump can do what they want. They lie, bully, put themselves above the law, manipulate, misuse facts. Nevertheless they stay like a stubborn spot on the face. And we are all afraid that they come back. So please dont vote for Boris anymore. Trump and Putin create enough severe problems. I wonder why the electorate in Britain and in the USA started to fall for shallow and doggy leaders. Maybe it is a deficiency of education as higher education is so very expensive in both countries that only the upper middle class upwards can afford it. This is policy in both countries. Easy game for the political establishment.
