Boston officials said a shooting that has left seven people injured near the city’s annual Caribbean Carnival was unrelated to the event. Police commissioner Michael Cox said all of the victims have non-threatening issues and that two suspects were arrested.

Reports say suspects were in possession of “unlawful firearms.” There should be a law against having unlawful firearms, and breaking those laws should be illegal.
