My daughter is 5. If I don't hear her voice for 10 minutes I go looking for her unless she is sleeping. This story makes no sense. Maybe she was drunk.
We go through this Sh!t every year. It isn't going to stop unless it's someone's dog who gets cooked in a car.

I'm not a parent so I don't deal with everyday tasks and stresses of caring for a child or multiple children. However, in the previous cases it always seems it was infant(s) who can't speak up or say "he mom/dad I'm in here". A 5 year old(unless he was possibly autistic) can scream or yell, "MOM"!!!! So she never once heard her child before exiting the vehicle? And I would imagine with a small child you should often check on them to make certain they are not getting into things they shouldn't.
I cannot believe this is still happening. 🙁
If they start charging moms regardless of their excuses then may be these morons start paying attention. The child is dead and the mom should be held responsible.
