A Baltimore judge vacated the murder conviction of Adnan Syed who has been in prison for over 20 years for allegedly strangling his ex-girlfriend to death in 1999. Syed has maintained his innocence and will remain under home detention while prosecutors look into new evidence. NBC News’ Danny Cevallos reports.

I'm so embarrassed of the cops and detectives from the 1990s. A lot of them were not qualified for the job and not in the best physical shape. The evidence is overwhelming that Syed killed his ex, and has been so demonstrated at multiple levels of the court system.
