Telling a joke is not a crime, violence is. Their is no justification for violence. The argument of "self defence" or defending ones wife from perceived slur by means of exacting violence is false. It is indefensible and anyone who justify's Will Smiths physically abusive behaviour is justifying violence and therefore an accessory to the crime. They might as well support Putin for his violent assault on Ukraine. Try telling that to victims that you support violence.

If anyone else were to do what Will did, they would have been removed from the event. Very immature of Smith to smack Rock during a live event. Should have taken his frustration out after the show, in private. As for the swearing, Smith appeared to be "above" everyone else in the theater.
