Merrick Garland appointed a Special Counsel for an even BIGGER reason than avoiding the "perception" of politicization of the DOJ. Here is the reason why this is a brilliant (plus the fact that Garland is to passive/careful to go after Trump and get him).
“The Special Counsel is funded by the Independent Counsel appropriation, a permanent indefinite appropriation established in the Department’s 1988 Appropriations Act,” a Justice Department spokesman said.
You all KNOW that the GOP will try to quash the DOJ, the magatarians are already talking about breaking up the FBI and DOJ……. so this way, congress can NOT cut funding from Jack Smith's work.

The Trumpster is screaming for a reality TV series. This episode should have started with Jack Nicholson yelling “Truth, you can’t handle the truth.” Tish James episode coming soon. I have a fantasy of watching a reality show with 24 hour coverage of Don Grabembythepussie along with all of his conspirator sycophants in one prison. Cameras in all the cells and common areas for the audience to choose at will to watch. A 5 minute delay to blank out any speeches and comments to rally the cult faithful.
