Olivia Newton-John died at the age of 73. Her husband posted on Facebook saying she passed away peacefully at her home in Southern California. Newton-John is best known for her role starring as Sandy in “Grease” alongside John Travolta. Newton-John had been battling breast cancer for decades.

I had such a crush on her as a 14 year kid when she played Sandy on Grease, especially when she sang "Hopelessly Devoted to You".
It's a very sad day because she takes me back to a very nice & innocent time in my life. This world will dearly miss such a beautiful woman like Olivia. May God help her entire family in this moment of terrible grief.

She did something right, she survived for 30 years vs. only 1-5 years if treated with Chemotherapy and radiation. I got scleroderma after the conventional treatment, will be lucky if I make it 2 years.
