Here's your reminder that banning abortion will hurt pro life women too – here's the scenario to consider since medical care and body autonomy isn't enough of an argument to some – say you're a pro life women , you are ecstatic to become a mother. 6 month appointment comes and there's no more heartbeat. But abortion is banned. And so , you now either carry it to term and birth it at 9 months after carrying it dead – and having everyone ask when your due etc but you already know there will be no chance of live birth. That is if it does come out on its own, chances are your body will not fully do it on its own and abortion would be a life saving measure. Instead of medical care and potentially having a rainbow baby in the future you will have no future. And if you already have a child they will be motherless.
People are mad about what they consider irresponsible use of abortion and not actually thinking of lives worth saving. Coveting purity and controlling the power of a womb is their fetish. As soon as girls and women reach child bearing age pro lifers no longer deem their life as worthy as a potential one which reminds me A LOT of a specific Mormon teaching that souls are owed bodies and reproducing is an absolute nessesity as soon as possible.
