I'm sorry but those text message don't prove that Favre knew that the money was coming from welfare funds. Why would they even tell him where the funds were coming from? I don't like that reporters are making that insinuation without proof.

I went to Oxford, Mississippi, when i was 8 years old, talk about cultural shock!
It was the 1st time I'd ever met my father's mother, my grandmother.. I remember the houses, actually shacks, out houses, of the people that lived on my grandmother's land. They were actually shacks, one room, out houses, they cooked outside. My grandmother didnt "approve" of my parents allowing me to play "with the "worker's children."
I made a friend and she made my stay there, the best. I gave her all of my clothes, except a pair of pj's and three outfits for the long drive back to Los Angeles, across the segregated south.
I have never returned to Oxford, my father went by himself, when "Nana" died.
Reason why? most impoverished families are BLACK and white volleyball is more important in Mississippi
