You may as well read the suit. It's got lots of the (alleged) police work in it. The suit is public information. She went to the police the next day. Hard to believe that she knew who Araiza was. I follow football and I had not heard of him. She was also 17, and he 21, That's statutory rape in California. Assault rape would be extra. There were three guys, according to her allegations.

Now if Araiza was involved in the gang rape then it is a different story. How can any man know if a 17 year old is not an 18 year old? And do you know how many 18-21 year old women have had sex with 17 year old men? Plenty. Has anyone ever heard of a criminal or civil lawsuit for such a situation? No.

He also admitted to having sex with her even though she was highly intoxicated, then said he doesn’t remember, told her she should get an STD test, and then no further comment.
