They had the ability to shut down a country over a virus, even with the advance knowledge of weather reporting, they failed to put the travel ban in place well in advance of this storm. The protocol is there, that could have quickly and easily put people in places of safety before the blizzard hit, with an announcement that this would be the year without santa clause and they didn't do it. During the Pandemic there were very little vehicle on the road ways, Hochul had the knowledge but failed to use it to save lives. It could have been done. These stories are sad and no one is talking about the homeless people, what about the ones with no place to go.

People are being told to stay home and they don't because they have four-wheel drives and want to go drive around. Doing so causes more problems for emergency responders. Time for mayors and governors to issue orders to stay home or else.
