The historic Buffalo storm consisted of 37 consecutive hours of blizzard conditions, which is the longest reported on record since 1950. NBC’s Marissa Parra reports more than 30 people have been reported dead, and how crews are contiously working to clear snow from the roads while the travel ban remains in place.

How is the wind and solar power working in this below zero weather? In CO charging stations for electric vehicles were not working due to the sub zero temps. All electrify stations were not charging. And tax on fuel when we need heat.. yea well done current administration, your wind, solar electric power is not keeping us warm in such weather. And your tax is going to break us as we can keep warm or choose hypothermia. I pray for them as I was so freaked out in Colorado and we did not get the floods, snow then sub zeros temps.
And next weekend comes the warmup and rain. Flooding is next.
We pray for blizzards like these. When they come we ski and snowmobile in it. Those are super fun days. Our kids go to school in snow depths similar to this. They would love a snow day but rarely get one. If that many people have died it’s either a bad warning system or poor government clearing of roads. This is unacceptable for places that get snow. We can get 3-4 feet and the roads are cleared within 6-8 hours of the snow passing. I can’t wrap my head around this. Are we sure this wasn’t in southern Florida or Georgia!?
