Governor Burgum handled this tool like a pro
I've never heard of this guy but my respect for him is through the roof.
George tried to corner him repeatedly and Doug just wasn't going to let that happen. Good on HIM!!
Trump is not the only story out there, nor is he the most important story out there. Doug's right. Mainstream Media won't talk about anything else, regardless of what George says about those issues being covered extensively.
ABC, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, ABC, and the rest haven't talked about Joe's problems with influence peddling…There's nothing about the testimony from the parents of the 13 kids who died in Afghanistan…

I like him, and he's talking about the serious issues. He took the right approach. I believe there were some irregularities on the 2024 election.
Burgum has done a great job as Governor in North Dakota since 2016. He helped mold the very rural state into an economic stronghold. Most people that love here don't want other states to know how great it is in fear that they will come ruin it like they have Colorado, Montana and Idaho.
I can't believe all he wanted to talk about was Trump.

I used to watch this week, meet the press and face the nation i think every week, and i liked the tough questions they asked republicans when trump was presiden. Interesting to note that two weeks ago not a word from "this week" about the issues with Hunter, the corrupt connection to his father, Hunters failed plea deal. All we heard on the show was Trump and all his legal battles……and Climate Change. In my view Mr. Burgum chose not to answer a baited question for the right reasons which he effectively articulated. I tuned in to hear what he had to say as a candidate for the republican nomination for president. Full stop. Yet here is George Stephanopoulis baiting him to declare a position on Trump's indictment?! Seriously, who cares? We all know the calculous on declaring your position on Trump. Therefore, why can't major networks resist the urge to ask this type of questioning? Obviously, that is redundant. I'm aware of the reasoning but isn't it past time that mainstream news media begins to give viewers the credit they deserve by prioritizing content quality over rating baiting?
How are voters supposed to begin to evaluate potential nominees if we can't get past Trump and all his baggage. STOP doggedly pandering please. ABC could take a lesson from many republican candidates, wink wink, "we know it is wrong and illegal but we are not going to answer your obvious question because you know who will come after us".
