  1. I'm no longer tipping, increase my pay, now I will say not my problem.

  2. If you have to stand while paying for your bill, don't tip.

  3. I would tip if it's something very like a fast food drive-thru I will not tip. If I'm in a restaurant in the server server me with great customer service and yeah I will definitely put like Starbucks McDonald's there are multiple billion corporation they have the money they have the resource there's just too stingy.

  4. "Government had to get involved."

Right, because they're not getting a fair wage.

  5. Servers in seattle make 150K

  6. Tipping is how corporate chains can keep paying slave wages to hospitality workers.

  7. Pay employees a living raise. We should not have to supplement their wages because the employers are too greedy to pay their own employees. If they have to raise the restaurant prices, do it. Plenty of people can afford to pay more. But those same people should not be obligated to pay restaurant workers wages.

  8. I’m in construction making sure you’re Roads are nice n smooth for you to drive on, your Sidewalks are nice and Flat for you to Walk on and No one Gives me A F#%K’n Tip!! So there Ya Have it……….

  9. We cut down on eating out.

  10. I do my job and make deliveries as truck driver, I dont get no tips

  11. Tipping is so out of control. In some cases like Doordash, I'm asked to tip for service before my stuff has even been delivered.

  12. I tip the way I used to and I could care less what the screen says. You tip me for being the customer YOU need to have a job!

  13. Bring out the “Grinch”??! How tonedeaf and delusional of this news reporter.

It’s not customers responsibility to provide living wage to workers while the CEOs are buying themselves a new mansion…

This is why I watch news with a grain of salt… I can clearly see the propaganda and brainwashing. Tipping is illegal and considered rude in some countries. It should be considered in America, only type for certain services, not every job or service…

  14. AI CAN DIE IN A HOLE !!! WHAT A JOKE

  15. Anytime a place at the register asks me to tip when im checking out, I check no! I prefer to tip in cash but only at places like Cold Stone or Restaurants with a server/waiter. Places that tell me to tip 20% or more when I ONLY want to purchase wat I need can screw themselves

  16. This is all due to companies paying slave wages. Corruption beyond belief.

  17. Essentially, companies are requiring their costumers to share in the cost of labor. Rather than increasing wages, le the consumer foot the bill. America: "the greatest country on earth:. Ha!

  18. I just eat out less due in part to POS machines. And since food has increased at least 20% but the quantity hasn’t why should I pay more for the same portions. Build back better isn’t working and I knew it wouldn’t

  19. What a sad country you are the richest country in the modern world and you can’t pay your low paid workers proper wages they have to live in tips .DISGUSTING .So as an American I pay taxes and health care etc .Now when I consume anything I have to pay literally to supplement wages .Wtfudge ??? Seriously you Americans have nothing to be proud of .I live in a society which cares about its people .AUSTRALIA

  20. If you want a tip,
    LEAVE CASH for your servers.
    Screw electrical transactions.

  21. I don’t mind tipping at all, when earned. But tipping prior to service makes me sick.

  22. Tipping needs to end, the ridiculous push for this everywhere on everything proves we need to catch up with the rest of the world
These companies can pay people living wages with those record profit they keep boasting about.

Its also weird how taboo it is to discuss that possibility, even here the newswoman just says "Tip anyway and dont be a Grinch" like who has the extra money to supplement what the COMPANIES WHO EMPLOY THEM should be paying??

  23. I BANNED 99% of resturants or food eateries in America! Your food is too expensive and your quality way down! Go rot in hell! Why would I tip if you cannot even pay your employees livable wages? Fix that first!

  24. I stopped tipping back in 2008! Employers NEED to pay livable wages to thier employees of no less than $33/Hour and up for any job! Run your businesses ethically or rot in hell if you are a greedy exploitative phuuuuuuck!

  25. Not my job to subsidize your wages. That’s your employer’s job.

  26. Companies need to reduce costs every 90 days or their share price drops
They do this partly by reducing workers wages and filling the gap with a tip button
This is at the heart of why America’s growth trajectory has changed
Slaves to shareholders. The whole system is corrupt.

  27. Pay people better – problem solved.

  28. If a valuable service is provided, a tip is justified. If a customer is known to stiff a server, poor or late service is justified.

  29. I generally don't mind tipping, but I hate doing it for places where I pick up food…especially those that don't have a delivery service. I'm exerting energy, spending time, using gas, driving on the road with stupid people, etc. to pick up one meal, so why should I have to pay extra for that? I made an effort so you don't have to pay a delivery person or give any money to DoorDash/Uber Eats. You can have my rant. That's your tip.

And also, what is up with the coffee thing? Wow, you did your job and made me coffee. Here's even MORE money for that service every single time I want to get coffee, which is every day. Come on already.

  30. No joke I was asked to tip my cardiothoracic surgeon the other day

  31. The only time I'll ever tip is for a server, and only a good server.

  32. I don't even order food because I don't want to be forced to pay somebody a damn tip. I don't care if they're delivering. Businesses have a cost of doing business and all of that should be rolled into it. Especially now using the kiosks? If I'm picking up my food I love just hitting the no button.

Here's a tip, stop asking me for tips.

  33. The product being sold isn't exactly cheap, and 30% tip on top in another 30% inflation. Maybe the stockholders need to suck it up for once and axe some corporate greed.

  34. I tip if I'm served at my table, otherwise no. I also refuse to tip at all, if the tip has already been applied to the bill, before I see it and I let them know why.

  35. All the tips are going to the Biden administration. Keep voting for them, that’s what happens. Go Trump 🇺🇸

  36. the cruelty of its cruelty and its entire cruelness continues, like it has always been.
