Police in Australia say they’re trying to track down a “good Samaritan” who helped stop a suspect from fleeing after he allegedly robbed a woman as she was making a cash deposit at an ATM.
Bystanders helped slow the man down long enough for officers to arrive. He’s now facing multiple charges.
Investigators say they’d like to speak with the woman seen in security video grabbing the suspect — and any other witnesses — as they build their case against the suspect.

With other people in pursuit it seems strange that a mother holding her daughter's hand would act against the bystander effect. Blurry footage with a red ellipse like this would be a classic 2003 move. If by chance it is indeed real, that mother has an amazing sense of awareness.
