California battered by heavy rain and historic snow



From rocks giving way along a central California highway to erosion from heavy rains causing an RV to plunge into a river, the massive winter storm has left California in rough shape. A new storm has since moved into the Northwest, bringing blizzard-like conditions to the Sierra Nevada with an additional two to six feet of snow by Tuesday.

  11. I just drove through that I left Truckee around 5:45 and got home around 7pm because of traffic jams and cars that think there 4wd or to lazy to put on chains and cause accidents because the roads turn into ice and seen 2 simi's jacknifed on I-80W outside of Truckee,California.🌨🤬❄

  29. I live in the SF Valley and never in my 40yrs kf living here have I experienced such heavy rain. I drive for a living and it was a bit worrying seeing cars on the road and fwy get flooded and stuck.

  30. I wake up everyday thanking god I live in a state with insulated housing.
