  1. Yet nothing will be returned nor will anyone be prosecuted. The cops will pocket ever bit of this. So who did this really benefit.

  2. That’s what I thought they would look like.

  3. Everyone needs to stop buying new goods off of Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, offer up and even eBay from sellers that are not business.

Everyone wants a deal but it’s destroying our country. There’s no reason people should see crimes happening when they go shopping.

I also wouldn’t mind stores that have the biggest problems becoming membership stores. They simply could charge a small fee then reimburse it on first purchase. I feel like Costco is one of the only stores I frequent where I don’t see blatant shoplifting.

  4. allow retailers to use guns and tasers

  5. Still the thieves in Alabama and Florida continue to rob, steal and traffic children but their police will do nothing because the gangs are White

  6. Nice work!! Criminals don't care about felonies, fines etc. Need much harsher punishments!! Get rid of Prop 47, AB 109 and all other BS laws that allow criminals to run rampant.

  7. Isn't it interesting that HOME Depot is the place to go for ALL Those who use the store for products to illegally try to hide from authorities or try to disguise GUILT!

  8. Rob Bonta is soooo tough on crime. 🙄

  9. The F is going on in this country?

  10. It’s about Time!!!!!

  11. You are super dumb if you think you can steal over $100,000 from one entity without it being noticed and investigated. I just passed up the opportunity to steal potentially a billion dollars because I probably won’t get away with it when the fbi starts investigating. Can I get possession of the money? probably. Can I just change my social class without drawing any suspicion? Probably not. It’s possible I could be stealing money I couldn’t spend. No intervention needed I already decided not to do it.

  12. Say hello to George Gascon!

  13. A task force that cost at LEAST $5M to operate over the course of months recovers 150K of merchandise. Way to go?

  14. I heard that home dept has a policy that once someone make sit out the door with the merch there writing it off.I mean doesnt that within itself give people like this an incentive to steal and home depots not taking a bath on it you think they dont have some type of theft insurance.

  15. You go, CHP! You go, Rob Bonta! From Los Angeles, CA

  16. Good work officers.

  17. sure, they will be released soon and do that all over again, thanks to Democrats soft on crime policy…

  18. WHY ALL THIS WORK? They're already released with ZERO consequences so they can repeat the crimes FOR LIFE. The JOKE IS ON the Law Enforcement!

  19. BS Mr. Bonta. You should have never let it get this bad. Why are you so slow to react?

  20. Soft on crime works everyone. Thanks Newsom

  21. Man swapmeet's gonna be empty

  22. How about we make shoplifting illegal again?

  23. It won't matter. They'll be back out on the street in no time.

  24. When he says you and I are going to pay for quality tools I'm going to buy stolen new tools or they're going to lower the price of the tools in the store or they're going to take a lower cut of the profits but yeah F*** y** home depot f*** y** police man

  25. Can you repeat that please yeah!!!,🤫sound good to me !!!🤫I went to buy coffee y the samething happened all !!are over protective very sad !!🤫just thanks to this people doing what they pleased!!, s

  26. DON'T WORRY, THE LIBS IN CALI WILL LET THEM OUT IN A FEW MONTHS AND THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN, YAY LIBERAL PROSECUTORS!!!!

  27. You can thank you local law makers for this. They made stealing Legal. 😑

  28. The law in egypt is chop off the hand that steals 👇🪓

  29. soon the stores will be automated. you’ll order and pay on line. employees (or robots) inside the fortress-like building will assemble your order. you’ll drive up to a secure dispensing area, punch in a code and your items will be sent out on a conveyor belt.

  30. No…they will “catch” a few…but making this big of a deal about seizing 150k worth of goods from 2 brothers, when they even said the problem is 10+ billion dollars….the badly make a dent

  31. Protecting billion dollar companies as the little guy goes bankrupt

  32. As long as we let companies get away with it, you and I will always pay for it… Speaking of capitalism of course. And also big pharma. 🤪

  33. catch and release anyway what good does it do….

  34. A feel-good crimestopper news. They sure caught the criminals, but let's tell us the release part of the catch and release retail theft cycles in California. The cost to taxpayer of these special task forces easily cost 10x more than the merchandises stolen, and in the end the criminals will be release and charges dismissed.

  35. We aren't being told who and what race they are…how typical, let's hide it so that no one can have their suspicions verified jic they're not American-born and caucasian.

  36. Sadly the law is more pro to criminals. Keep hearing business are closing bc they can't deal with criminals, grab and run.

  37. Why Walmart is closing their outlets in Portland area along with Cracker Barrel : CRIME out of control

  38. Doesn’t matter if you catch the, if democrats just let non violent offenders out of jail.

  39. Me getting arrested with them because I have a shopping problem.

  40. This is why big retail store like Walmart are closing up shops cuz these people don't believe they have to work for a living & expect everything should be free for them like food stamps, welfare, section 8, medicaid & so on.

  41. Instead of locking up the merchandise why don't you start locking up the criminals!
