The solution would be to order manufacturers to produce these medicines as a condition of licensing to participate in the US pharmaceutical industry.
Leaders and office holders are too feckless or simply bribed to do nothing.
Capitalism works just fine as long as corrections are made along the way. Those corrections must be well thought out lest they create additional problems.
Nonetheless, a drug shortage for a patient with an often terminal condition is something that should be easily solved.
This problem implies that pharmaceutical companies are controlling regulation, and it’s an inescapable truth.
Never fear joe biden is here….he will ensure that Fentanyl continues to flow across our wide open southern borders so there is no shortage!

I know genetics can play a part, but many people can make healthier choices to prevent illness. It’s not just exercise and food but also where you live, products you put on your body, and drug use.

I'm betting regulation is blocking the way. If the price was too low to keep manufacturing of the medicine profitable then the price would rise to a level that made it profitable but I bet government is somehow involved in keeping prices artificially low.
