It is wild animals, land or in water; "treat it as such".
You are Not supposed to pet or feed wild animals, even if they did grow up with humans. They can turn on a human at any given second. Seen this way too many times to trust the process. 😮
This looks like somebody making a big deal out of nothing. She looks like she’s got a few little scratches. She’s way too young anyway to have been doing that. She has no idea of her own strength and will try to grab things which is probably why she got bit. If Mom is looking for someone to blame, she should look to herself

Kds365 that should instead be, don't touch animals that you don't know. People can own inanimate objects, but animals are living creatures so people should not consider them as something to own. This mother should not have let her young daughter feed the sealife because of her being so young.

These days mothers think parenting is just putting their child in a chair and giving it a tablet with access to porn, violence, and the ability to communicate with adults who want to have sex with it.
I think I saw this same mother knitting on her front porch while coaxing Lola to play in traffic.

i ain't letting my kids feed strange fish. But if I did I'm not gonna trip if my kid gets a figher nibbled on by a gruoper. lol UNLESS i wanted a paycheck.

Took my daughter to the Folsom location. She was bit the same way. Huge white fish. Employees offered a bandaid and accident report. She’s now 4 and still talks about the incident like it was yesterday. 😢
Nope, if u go to an aquarium and they have a section where they let the children touch the wildlife obviously anybody’s assumption would be that it is safe, otherwise they shouldn’t allow children around that wildlife. That would be like if u got on a roller coaster and got hurt but instead of blaming the lack of safety precautions on the staff ur like, “well I should have known that this roller coaster would put my life in danger before even getting on it”. Blaming the victim here is irrational

I have to say it, i feel for the little girl getting bit. As a father of little ones i cant takes seeing kids hurt. It breaks my heart, but 8 months old reaching into a fish tank to feed fish that look at those little moving fingers as food. They dont know better! You as a parent should. This is the crap that ruins it for evertone. It doesnt take smarts to make a baby but does take a little bit of effort to raise one. Sad to be honest. I feel for the mom a bit as well but how foolish as a parent can you be? I also love how they said a grouper bit her but showing pictures of sharks. Way to embellish the story a bit.

It's literally a wild animal, and who tf thinks an 8 month old needs to feed an animal?? Not like that baby is gonna remember it. This lady needs to chill and maybe not go to events with live animals

its not a petting zoo and fish are absolitely not acustomed to this no matter how much you think you handling them has chabged tem… they arent you… and fish have a lot more to fear and open to impulsive mistakes…

The grouper that was involved didn't have "teeth", it's more like sandpaper. I'm sure it stung at first, but all the screaming and crying that occured was from fear, and who could blame her. IMHO This storys been sensationalized juuuust a bit. LOL

Even though he's an adult with not touch a stingray which my mother wanted to go to this rescue wildlife place in Jupiter Florida and I went with her and I did not touch any fish or any animal I don't even know what the stingray is is common sense lady common Sense these are wild animals my God
