A house in Sterling, Virginia, exploded while firefighters were responding to a gas leak, leaving one firefighter dead and 10 others injured.
ABC News’ Em Nguyen was at the scene in the aftermath of the explosion that left debris scattered across neighbors’ yards.

Never in my life have heard of a propane tank in a home. In Michigan they are always outside, usually 50 feet away.
