When Maria says Up 33%, she avoids to say it has been down more than 500%. This is a joke. As an AI engineer for many years, I must say she is clueles when she says "TSLA is the most profound AI company." There are many companies using AI, and some are far ahead of TSLA. TSLA much hyped automated driving, even after many missing milestones, is years away to be approved for use on the road in the US. Cathy is an economist and throwing a bunch of buzzwords she knows very little about. As a fund manager, when you lose over 80% of value, it shows she severely lacks risk management. When you manage fund, you must know how to manage downward risk and she lost over 80% she failed miserably.

Cathie likes to benchmark her performance over a 5 year time horizon. All of her funds have underperformed the Nasdaq from 5 years ago. The vast majority of actively managed funds have historically underperformed the broader market. Best to stay clear of the “experts”.
