Actually prices are supposed to go down the more people buy a product. But for the past 20 years or more some evil people in politics decided to make it harder for the working American.
Trump battled with the pharmaceutical companies to bring prices down and he accomplished this but as soon as Biden came in, he reversed Trumps policies.
The pharmaceutical companies charge Americans more because they think that Americans are able to pay for them. The same drugs in Canada are a lot less expensive.

I had to find another doctor because my doctor wanted to put me on medication with higher price. I refused and insisted on generic which was literally 10 times less in cost! He was unhappy with me I guess.

Did you say Ireland? Medication is very expensive here in Ireland unless you have a medical card. There was a government plan for pharmacies to use the cheaper generic version to make it cheaper for the customer, but if it happened it seems it wasn't passed on to the customer

Prior Authorization is no existent. All they tell you is it's not covered by the formulary and they recommend another brand. There aren't any overrides anymore. I'm an RN for over 30 years. My Company made me switch my medicine which didn't work for me. I had side effects which affected my productivity at work. Resulted in a job loss. All because of no overrides.

Natural medicine is the best by wide margin. Both health and nutritional information are notoriously unreliable should be said (not to mention economic information). Always request the right to be forgotten. Never connect health data and any kind of ID.
Maybe if it was illegal to advertise on TV, to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars, prices would go down significantly. Why do I have to ask my Dr to prescribe a certain drug for my diagnosis? Isn’t that HIS/HER responsibility? Don’t Pharmaceutical companies pay 💰Reps huge salaries to visit and pressure every Dr in the country to push their drugs?
I will tell you how to bring drug prices down. Stop eating man-made foods and eat only meat, dairy and plants. Move your bodies. Don't drink alcohol. Don't inhale anything into your lungs other than clean air. Keep life inexpensive and simple. Get good sleep. Don't let docs put you on chemicals that interfere with your natural physiology. There you go. Lower drug prices. Your welcome. It was free.

I merely ask my doctor if a generic drug is available for my condition. Prices are dramatically lower and my understanding is doctors are obligated to provide you with this information if you as the patient request it. If you don't, then they will follow the policies of their medical facility to address your issue.
