It takes a special person to have his outlook after how the Justice System in America twisted his job as part of a crime. I don't know that I would have stayed in America knowing how the police across America falsify reports and judges go alone with whatever the police say.
I've known people serve 20 years for minor pot possession.
Probably the only good thing Dump did was set the man free. Life without parole for a pot charge? Holy crap.

I work with prisoners everyday. Most are lifers. Some have committed horrible crimes. Some have never hurt a single person and were just in the wrong place at the wrong time and got charged anyway. And some are serving life for WEED. The one thing they all have in common: they have dedicated their lives to being the best that society could EVER hope for. Please, end the stigmas about prisoners. Yes, some people can never be released, but SO MANY deserve second chances and should’ve never been there in the first place. See what you can do to volunteer for prisoners in your community. Write to a prisoner and see how it changes you. Thank you.
