Some Chicago-area residents are claiming that their apartments were boarded up while they were still inside, trapping them in. The city of Harvey evacuated residents due to several problems in the building. The building owners claim they alerted tenants and deny all allegations.

This is NOT a private issue. This is a serious crime. If any of those people had had a medical emergency, what would have happened then? ALSO, if the owners of that building were letting the property go to rack and ruin, do you honestly think that you should trust them to act responsibly in communicating to their tenants? They clearly don't know how to act like humans.
I am a senior and when vacate order is put up, you need to vacate. Simple! Cant pretend notification letters are fake. This town is on a whole nother crime level.
