Governments should not be involved with making abortion laws. It isn't their business to pass legislation using arbitrary measures of viability. It is is decision that should only be made between a woman in consultation with her doctor weighing the physical and mental health of the woman to either abort or carry the fetus to term. All governments should stay out of the bedrooms of Americans.
Those governments that impose restrictions will be face the consequences at their next election. Politicians that have been hiding behind the Roe decision will have to make it clear to the people that elect them which way they stand on freedom, reproductive, and personal rights. The election in November could become a one issue election that has the potential to change the political landscape of America as the vast majority of Americans believe it is the woman's right to choose. This could be the issue that will make many Republicans vote, this one time only in their lives, for a Democrat.

Here we go again. This ruling, (assuming this IS the ruling), will not affect the ability of rich women to obtain abortions. It will harm lower income women who don't have the means to obtain a safe abortion. Back-alley, unsafe procedures will be the option for poor women.
Each and every one of us know, that if men had the ability to give birth, legal abortion would have been "settled law" 300 years ago.

Five persons allied themselves to a document where the word "Always" is used early and often. If a person attests in writing that they have ALWAYS held a position, then it would be a grievous lie for them to claim elsewhere that they once held a different position but have recently changed their mind. If they made any claim that they were holding an opposite position, that would be a lie at the time they spoke it. If they were under oath with a penalty of law and they at this time claimed to hold an opposite opinion. That by its nature would be a CRIME.
