A 6-year-old child was taken to the hospital and is in unknown condition after being found injured under a rollercoaster at a Kissimmee, Florida amusement park. Fun Spot park officials said that the Galaxy Spin ride will be closed as an investigation takes place. WESH’s Dave McDaniel reports.

I hate to be that guy, but can we please stop posting "pray to Jesus, or God almighty" comments when hoping for recovery for the child or for any other? If you are into religion, fine, more power to you, I am not saying I am irreligious or anything, but can we just pray for recovery without having to bring God and Jesus into it all the time? What matters here the most is not that it happened in Florida, but that they look into their rides so accidents such as this become avoidable, and utmost that the poor six year old child makes a recovery.

Im so sorry little guy. I dont know what happened, but I know what is important, YOU. That's a big fall for a 6 year old. You do what the Drs. and Nurses ask you to do and I bet you will get all the ice cream you want. I'll keep you in my prayers, Mom and Dad too. I'll be checking back on you. Grandma loves ALL her 6 year olds. Be strong buddy !!

Some kids are really slim built that could of been a factor to and he may of been tall enough but really slim that would cause him to slip out of the seat belt position so sorry I really hope he recovers from this prayers are with him 1:54

I don't get on rides anymore. No one knows how to maintain sh1t anymore. And the inspection standards are substandard or non-existent.
6 year old should be allowed on ride. Not strong enough to hang on in g force flips and turns. Weights need be 85lbs

This is probably another operator error. They should check there height among other things before letting them on
The biggest question (yeah, I know, I'm Captain Obvious) is WHY the boy fell? Was it do to the restraints? Was it do to the boy not being the appropriate height limit?
The fact that the ride itself was tested and they found nothing wrong, makes me think it's either the ride operator, or some other factor.
Either way, this is a horrible situation for all involved.
Accidents like this happen most often at Carnival and carnival style parks like these (or those random sling shot ride you see places that throw you into the air in a ball). They are just a money grab and tend to have poor management and oversight. This doesn't happen at major theme parks like Disney, Universal, Six flags etc. MOST ride accidents happen at places like this where they do not inspect as often as they should or do not train their employees well when it comes to safety checks.
I don't trust ride, especially how old rides get after years
