Taiwan may be equips with the best war armament, but they need to eat to survive and China need not invade or fight with their fellow Chinese cause only fools will, like the Ukrainians who will have to pick up those broken pieces.

China does not just try to appear as a power broker, they clearly are one. US are delusional if they think China is not a great power at this point. Also, sooner or later China will be strong enough to oppose US from sailing ships through Taiwan strait. China's military ship building capacity is many times greater than that of the US' and Chinese navy is expanding rapidly.
