Odd laws in Georgia. Why release the names of grand jurors, indeed? Why are Senate runoffs scheduled for January 6th of the next year, when the Senate meets on January 3rd to be sworn in? This guarantees that new senators from Georgia start with the lowest seniority in the body, doesn't it, and that on the day electoral votes are counted, no senator is representing Georgia if there were two runoffs, as in 2020-2021. The previous Congress has ended and no Georgia senator has been sworn into the new one. Makes sense?
