Chuck Todd should stick to his day job as an occasional guest on his former show and leave soothsaying to others. Where did he get the notion that Netanyahu has an incentive to end Israel's war on Gaza? On the contrary, Netanyahu has an incentive to keep it going indefinitely. Few people are in the dark about the possibility of his career coming to an end should the hostilities end. Hamas is very unlikely to surrender, and Netanyahu will predictably resist backing off from his unrealistic goal of "totally eradicating" Hamas. This is the same person who allegedly made a case for propping up Hamas to ultimately realize his dream of an enlarged Israel without a Palestinian state next to it. What then? Joe Biden will refuse to stop funding and equipping Netanyahu because of his "sacred duty" to unconditionally support "Israel's right to defend itself." He'd rather lose an election than do otherwise. People often underestimate how callous politicians can be.

Important not to say Muslim vote, however, there are plenty of African American Muslims in Detroit who are not so animated by the latest between Israel and Hamas. But if Arabs think they have any ally in Donald Trump And Michigan Republicans, they’re playing themselves and I’ve got a bridge to sell them that doesn’t go to Canada (locals will understand that joke 😅).
