  1. Come on, people, gun use is the last resort. At least, found out the reason why the person is at your place if that person is posing a threat.

  2. We're are all the protesters for him being shot like in other case shown?….wait he's white he's the devil can't protest that.

  3. No update on the race of the shooter? Based on all your other coverage of these incidents, it would be the first thing you did if they were huwite you cowards

  4. 2:00 a.m..? Kicked in the door? What would you do? Bring out the milk and cookies? What if he was drunk and thought you were in HIS house?

  5. I sure he was drinking some of that BUD LIGHT. He made two wrongs in one night.

  6. theyre being so kind to him with their verbiage “student, accident, etc” he literally broke into someones home and is nothing like the other accidental cases. THIS is a prime example if what people mean when they say “complexion for protection” bc the way they’re gently talking about a somebody who was killed committing a crime is ridiculous. the media was much harsher on Yarl, a child who committed no crime whatsoever.

  7. He looked like a trumper, I'll take it. 🤗

  8. 🕊️✨R.I.P to the young man Nick🕊️✨ rest well sorry this happened to you😢

  9. Another case of “good guys with guns”. Paranoid good guys. These kind of cases doesn’t happen that frequently but they do happen from time to time. There was a period where if you came on the wrong house people were chilled about it. Those days are far behind us now.

  10. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Another young soul taken too soon. May he rest in peace. 😢😢

  11. Yeah, if someone is breaking your door then I would definitely see that as a threat. Ringing a doorbell is an entirely different thing.

  12. there isn't a whole lot of accurate info here. Did he actually break into the house ? Did he knock on the door when his key wouldn't work. Does he have roommates where he lives ? How about some actual details ?

  13. Very sad . Have never lived in a country where so many own a gun & would never want to

  14. What’s the matter with Americans , this isn’t normal

  15. Hahahahaha 😜😜. Chickens came home to roost.

  16. I actually walked into someone's home by accident. I thought it was my friend's house who i was going to visit. I had rung the doorbell, no answer. Knocked, no answer. So i tried the doorknob, stepped in and called, "Cathy?" It was all quiet and i was beginning to think i had the wrong day and then i heard a tv going upstairs and this guy starts coming down the stairs. I apologized profusely. I was carrying a casserole for lunch with my friend. It was obvious that I'm a 65 year old retiree not out to do harm, but now I can see that i am lucky i wasn't shot to death by entering someone's house accidentally… it can happen!!!

  17. I remember that case where it was in reverse where a female cop entered the wrong apartment and thought there was an intruder in her place and shot the guy in his own apartment. Imagine just sitting on the couch in your own house and someone just walks in and shoots YOU because they think you are a burglar.

  18. This is what happens when you allow criminals to run wild in the streets doing home invasions.. people are scared to death hiding behind locked doors and what amazes me is you actually have people in the comments section saying it should be fine for people to walk up in your house at any time they feel like and you should not be able to do anything about it.. people try so hard these days to become victims it's unreal..

  19. this person needs to be put in prison. He didn't present a danger to anyone. This is insane

  20. I guess we all have to be ready to shoot back these days. As a black man I have concealed carry for over a year now. I am hyper vigilant and situationally aware at all times. I profile certain types of white folk, old and young, and never turn my back on anyone. I find myself looking for exits and where to find cover just doing normal things. I feel it's just getting started as my natural trust of strangers slowly erodes. Sad.

  21. Guns again. What mistake? This is why there are guns. This is their purpose.

  22. I live in Columbia, and i absolutely stand with the homeowner! Would have done the same thing!

  23. This has got to stop. Hope that shooter gets prison.

  24. Another reason to avoid living in the United States. The civilians there are so angry and violent. Go to Japan or somewhere in Europe.

  25. probably not what happened. how do you go to the wrong house on your own street?

  26. Life is certainly cheap in the good old USA. I have to think that the first step SHOULD NOT always be pulling out a gun and shooting.

  27. Making a mistake and seeking to be treated with humanity?!? ….try that in a small town. Yeah, guns are the problem.
