Columbia, William & Mary Universities extend test-optional college admissions indefinitely

    None has ever attended a Columbia University reunion.

  5. I suppose special interests should be considered when evaluating what a students learned and likely to learn in college. And isn't a students major field of study just as important.

  6. Goes to show you what a joke the Ivy League Schools are.

    All the hoops are meaningless, the person who goes to state college or any equally competent institution of learning will produce similarly educated students in the end.

    People who celebrate the colleges they attended are sad.

  7. After US News dropped Columbia to 18th, their enrollment numbers have taken a slight hit, especially when you consider that other "comparable" ivies gained applicants this year. Maybe they're scared the trend will continue.
