Thanks so much for sharing that info about the lab grown diamonds, it has prompted me to look into those further before making any future purchases! I LOVE the potential window seat fabric choice and the cushion idea. That would look beautiful paired together. Just as a side note, velvet is actually traditionally made from silk, which comes from silk worms. 🙂 Modern velvet is often mixed with other fabrics however, and has a lower percentage of true silk. 🙂 Thanks for taking us shopping with you!! Also, very glad to see that your Mom is doing well after her surgery. I love seeing her cameos! 🙂

I find interesting on one hand you share your views on sustainability – lab diamonds but then promote river island dress with the outfit you were wearing which is by no means sustainable fashion.

Hi Josie love the diamonds- are you able to please go into the ethics behind why to choose lab grown over mined? Of course I understand there are some diamonds that may have originated from questionable labour process but many mined diamonds specify origin these days. I think it’s important to talk more openly around the ethical side of it as you mentioned it a few times. I have both mined and lab grown so I’m not in favour of one over the other though in a way I do like that mined diamonds do present some flaws such as black spots which can add to their individuality.
