Such a cool trip. I live right off of 65 but in Tennessee about 45 minutes north of Alabama. My cousin works for NASA in Sandusky, Ohio(where im originally from), she is a welder. My nephew worked for NASA as an mechanical engineer.

*However, isn't it frightening how many people DON'T WEAR MASKS in public places? Even being vaccinated I'm careful of other people. I just can't imagine being at ease with the surroundings in THE SOUTH (especially) during a trip/vacay stay during a pandemic. It's still here and not going away.

Josie, I lived here a total of 12 to 13 years on two different occasions. You showed me areas I didn't even know about 😉🤣. If you ever come back don't forget to head down to the coast Orange Beach AL has some beautiful beaches. The white sand is stunning. Pensacola FL is within driving distance and beautiful as well they have a wonderful downtown area as well as Naval museum I think you would really enjoy.
