Companies need to stop trying to place themselves into social ideologies and should be working on presenting their products value for human beings as a whole, not by social standards. If your product can not sell itself because it is a good product, trying to sell your products to any specific group will always fail. I worked in Management for decades and its always been clear that products either sell because they are of good quality or they dont sell because people know they suck, and as a company we also chose to get rid of the products that did not sell and replaced them with more products that did sell; we are here for the money, not for social browny points.
