Oh no…ABC's been infiltrated by racist royalists and dumb people. 😢 I guess ABC gets blocked too. But FYI — to correct your poorly thought out gossiping — (1) the cab driver said he just took them around the block and that the Sussexes were very alarmed, the roads were blocked by paparazzi, and that it was the worst celebrity chase experience he'd ever been in. He was not with them the full 2 hours just 10nmins. (2) The Mayor of NYC was not aware of the events of the evening and should not have opened his mouth to sound ignorant. In his defense even NY paparazzi are not that bad – these were foreign paps who showed up behaving criminally. Police are now investigating and looking foolish for allowing foreign paps to endanger the public. (3) The security and police detail (i.e., people who were there for the whole 2 hour chase – not ABC, not the cab driver, not the Mayor) said that the Sussexes were chased from the event site across the city, including them going by a police station briefly, and switching them to the cab which was about a 10 minute trip around the block and didn't work because the paps had spotters. Also the security detail were concerned because they didn't know for sure if it was only paps or also hit men in the mix. Also the security detail said that the paparazzi had people both in vehicles and on mopeds driving on the sidewalk nearly injuring pedestrians; and onlookers said the paps were damaging cars. This is what the Sussex spokesperson reported. (4) TMZ posted a video showing the paparazzi harassing the Sussexes while they were in the cab trying to flee and being bombarded with flashing lights while security tried to get them away from the cab (which was stalled because the paparazzi blocked the road). Also on video is Doria looking scared, Meghan trying to put on a brave face, and Harry trying to record the paps while looking mad. Also note the voices of the paparazzi heard in the video — British voices (the same British accents that harassed the Sussexes while leaving the event). And you can hear the paparazzi radio in to other paps the direction that the Sussexes' cab was turning. (5) The British media did an interview with one of the alleged paparazzi who stated that he could've been the one to take the Sussex's last photo (if they had crashed). A truly despicable person. And so @ABCNewsLive my question to you is why are you over here pushing unconfirmed racist/royalist gossip and hate? Why didn't ABC speak to someone in the police detail or reach out to the Sussex's for more information? Why did TMZ and the Sussex Squad folk do a better job reporting this incident then ABC? How the mighty have fallen. As a media company you should do better and stop hiring trash broadcasters who are too lazy to actually investigate or confirm their reporting.

1) the chase happened while they were in the SUV not the taxi.
2) the chase was never called high speed at any point by their spokesperson
3) they were driven around in the SUV trying to lose the hounds that lasted 2 hrs until they went to a police station finally to seek police assistance. They didnt want to be followed to their hotel and probably thought the paps would stop if they went around in circles.
4) And THEN paparazzi were abated since they’d already gotten police escorts. That’s why that taxi driver said there was no chase

The paparazzi is twisting the report. The cap driver was at the tail end. The mayor was irresponsible in his response to the reporter. He should have said, I don’t have all the facts yet. Unfortunately, his comments are being reported that the H&M lied. People need to read their press release. Don’t twist their words because you hate them. Piers Morgan is out here sending his demons to attack PH and his family because he knows that he is taking him to court.
