If they were so concerned about shifting to EV's, why didn't they use the money allocated for the infrastructure of EV charging stations. Just how many charging stations have they installed?

Where does the CONSTITUTION give government the authority to mandate what free citizens must purchase for their own use?
Need cheaper batteries, cheaper cars, more electricity generation, and more charging infrastructure to begin with. Fossil fuels are finite, whether or not you believe climate change, so we need to get off them as a national security issue. Also, many OOEC+ nations are hostile to the US, so that's another national security reason.

For most trips under ten miles now you really don’t need a 200 horsepower, or more, pickup truck, just like you don’t need a 12lb. sledgehammer to drive a ten penny nail. It seems to make sense to me to use the appropriate size transportation technology to the task. Big pickups still have their place for a lot of working Americans and I don’t begrudge their owners for driving them to pick up a load of lumber, sacks of concrete, hay for the livestock, etc. But once you’re home from work with the thing to use it drive three miles to the drug store for three items is ridiculous. Or to use it to transport a single individual to an office job each day is equally ridiculous. I got an ebike back in October mostly to spare myself from putting miles on my car and to familiarize myself with the technology and I now find that it not only does that but it is loads of fun. Typically American, we got stuck on taking EV tech directly to a car sized product when we are probably better served by using smaller, less expensive EV’s, like bikes and carts, to reduce the use of large, carbon emitting internal combustion machines, for appropriately sized trips.

The more EV cars at a charging station the slower the charge. Not the case at all with gasoline and storage tanks. EVs are impractical. Always will be.

This has nothing to do with the environment and EVERYTHING to do with the private, closed door deal Biden has with China. This has nothing to do with the American people other than taking our tax dollars and everything to do with the money China gave to the many members of the Biden family.
