Blacks are underrepresented in colleges, but over represented in the Military… There should be a black boycott of the military in order to get more whites and Asians in… fair is fair. š¤£
Every day I think how peaceful society would be if we were homogenous.
Lowering test scores and having quotas for races/gender is discrimination period. Just like fast tracking people past where their experience warrants in certain career fields just because they meet a few check boxes. This doesn't just apply to college this applies to many things such as fire departments having lower standards in many cases for women who wanna be firefighters and certain branches and units of the military lowering the fitness requirements. Any quota based system or system that lowers the standards for one group is discrimination against everyone else that doesn't get that added bonus. Didn't one study show that AA actually increased minority dropout rates during college because many were accepted via AA were put in mismatch institutions just to look diverse and instead of their merit.
When people get used to preferential treatment, equal treatment seems like discrimination
Well it sounds like if the SCOTUS gets rid of Affirmative Action in the Universities then the Military will have to change too by law.

She referenced the officer corp as an example of why affirmative action is good. Yet the state of our military leadership is the worst and most incompetent itās ever been. Hence the historically low recruitment. Precisely because of the draconian and racist practices like affirmative action. Not a single leftist socialite would dare let an affirmative action graduate from any med school perform surgery on them personally.
I still remember applying to the University of Michigan (my Alma Mater) and my jaw literally dropped when I saw how my high ACT score counted for exactly the same amount of points as simply checking the box for "black".

If your not aware, most military leaders in high positions are picked by current political leaders in power that have same view points. Like a Fire Commissioner which is extremely high rate which is just a civilian representative but technically that person almost always has no firefighting qualifications would be only main difference between the fields.
If the justices do there job does it matter what political party we put on the ticker up front? Technically no.
I have never felt threatened by anyone of color taking my job or not being able to get in any college. I work hard and earned everything. Only racist republicans believe they are victims because they believe that the color of their skin entitles them to everyone elses money and hard work. Republicans cheat in elections and SCOTUS is illegitimate, so just ignore those foreigners on the bench.

to be hones, applicants need to be judged solely on merit. All questions regarding ethnicity, gender, religion, etc should be stricken and applicants should only be identified by a number and blinded to avoid bias.
