The state legislature is at odds in Jackson, Mississippi, over a bill creating a separate court system where court officials would be appointed by state officials instead of elected. NBC’s Zinhle Essamuah has the details on the most recent example in a long history of clashes between the city of Jackson and the state of Mississippi.

Mississippi can’t be trusted to do right and is a long term racist, vile and exponentially corrupt state. Mississippi kkk was allowed to terrorize blacks so horribly during the Jim Crow era Nina Simone created song over all the black church bombings. Well more recently Phil Bryant should have been jailed but was allowed to throw Brett Farve under the bus for taking federal funds from the poor and working class in Mississippi. Poor and working class people need funding for vital resources needed to improve their living situations,those in congressional power like Phil Bryant, others with access to those federal funds steal,loot, and misappropriate the money. The bill creates a precinct that excludes addenda or propositions for residents to vote in favor of an enclave. It bypasses local governance and further allots funds to wealthier districts. This type of legislative action is how Jackson's water crisis developed to become unrepairable.
Justice is coming to Democrat cities, one way or the other. They should stop crying wolf on race when violent crime is clearly the imputes for change.
Democrats need to understand there are fights they cannot win & being on the side of violent criminals is one of them.

I’m sure there are MANY other ways to enhance security in the region WITHOUT the total disregard and disrespect to the people of Jackson. I am born and raised in Oregon but I am still APPALLED to see the people of Jackson being bullied by the servants and representatives of their state 🤨. What year is this anyway ?? 1923 or 2023 ?
They want to impose anti-crime, policies in a district that isn't theirs to tackle the violence in that community…
Now two ways to see it.
Either that community doesn't punish their criminal harsh enough as the city would like
Or they don't have the resources.
Now of course blacks will see it as racism.
And whites will see it as going after crime.
Either way, one race is over stretching their boundaries and redistricting,
And the other race, has a influx of violence, in a community that may not be policing well, or don't have the resources, but don't want outside help.

I wouldn't complain about this. I'd make sure the bill states the Black Americans also have their own system & all of the positions must be filled by Black Americans (no Black immigrants). Since 82% of the population is Black Americans then 82% of the judges, police force, DAs, lawyers, & juries need to be filled by Black Americans. White people get 18% & they only work with white people & the other 82% only work with Black Americans & white people won't have any say in how things work in the Black American run courts & police force. Also, 82% of all businesses must be Black American owned & no white owned nor immigrant owned businesses are allowed in areas where the majority of the citizens are Black Americans. 82% of the government & public school positions should also be filled by Black Americans & white people will have no input in how Black Americans govern. 82% of federal money & state budget goes to the Black Americans. Also, 82% of the National Guard should be Black Americans & they only respond to the orders of Black Americans. No white people will have ANY input on anything regarding anything to do with Black Americans. All oversteps will be swiftly & harshly dealt with by force. That should be the response to their bill, another bill spelling out what they cant do to Black people in Black American run districts. 82% of the districts need to be Black American run districts.
