I'm not a golf fan but I follow sports that are much less affected by big money. I dislike the commercialism and can get better seats at certain minor league or college sports. Of course, that means not following the NCAA basketball or football tournaments, too.
Please watch a local sports team on TV or go in person. Many games are free.
