Over 61k people were hospitalized last year for the flu. Less than 1000 have been hospitalized for this virus and most don't need ventilators.
Why not just tap into the surplus of ventilators and masks that Obama left? Oh wait,he didn't leave any surplus. So let's just use this virus as a political tool to finger point and blame.
Trump says he never saw the need for ventilators and masks. That is the role of the gov’t to prepare for potential catastrophes like storms, electrical outages, war and pandemics. He has no excuse and he is caught flat footed. Ignorance is no excuse.
If we stopped putting crap in the air we breathe maybe we would need a lot less bottles and machines for getting crap free air into peoples lungs.

Used to work in medical mfg. There are a least 10,000 different parts that come from around the world to make such a device anywhere from a customer SMD resistor at 0.1% tolerance to custom screws and various ots parts. With companies doing TPS and tight supply chains, how long before some stupid sheriff shuts down a company over CV19 that makes one of these small parts, or some other part where the parts cannot be shipped or people cannot get to work because of it. I give it about 15 days before the first news story hits on secondary supply chain problems because the government is now trying to control the means of production at multiple uncoordinated levels.

Using face mask is helpful to protect people from virus. It is important when you talk with others, or in crowds.
They don't have to be perfect ones. You could make handmade masks at home, too (there are some youtubes, too).

One of my last wishes would be to not be put on a ventilator I hope that that would be reserved for someone other than me and I want to die fast when I die I do not want to die on a ventilator and I think there's other people that can be rehabilitated and recovered with a ventilator so I would prefer that someone else be on the ventilator instead of me last wishes hope it happens. 😉 I'll be that survivalist guy out in the woods camping living off the land I don't want to be stuck in the Hospital. obviously it wasn't scripted who would have ever allowed him to say that it would have been a choke point.
