Dave and Lois Cho became the first Korean-American winemakers in Oregon, according to the regional wine association. NBC News’ Kathy Park visited their vineyard to share more about their journey and the rich history of Asian immigrants who helped build some of the earliest wineries along the West Coast.

I LOVE KOREAN !!! ALWAYS HARD WPRKING AND FOCUS IN THE WORK PLACE
And why is this considered news???
Their ethnicity should not be relevant, only their ability to create good wine.
Just like blacks do.
How is this news worthy lol.
Oh yea what about the wine they are making????, Oh yea that does not really matter……
WHY, does this even matter????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????, or just because of identity politics…!!!!, there is NO one stopping them from doing this…!!!!, this story from NBC is 100% disingenuous, but I wish the 2 individuals the best of luck with their endeavor
❤😊 🎉 congratulations!!
How is this newsworthy? Why is NBC so concerned about people's race all the time?
Lol who gives a shi*…. lets make EVERYTHING about race…. congratulations
I'm happy to see their success! Please stop making your "news" reports about "race"… As long as you insist on reporting people as, this-American, and that-American, this "RACE" issue in the U.S., will never end!
It's called soju
Who cares?
Slow news day.
Who cares
Looking forward to a taste 😮
Good for you two. American dream. Proud of you.
Great story of immigrants taking advantage of capitalism and being successful.
Lol. This is supposed to be news worthy? 😒
Why is their race a head line???!! Plenty of Asians are successful in this country. So what. Quit making peoples race a talking point to put down another race!! Ya pos
That's an oddly specific title
Hahahaha what a fkn joke
Remember when people from anywhere used to open up businesses and didn’t get a label like “first Korean American”? I mean…America is made up of people from every country on the planet and has been for hundreds of years….there were no labels of “first German American” “first French American” “first this-first that” even the Chinese never got a “first Chinese American” for their businesses. These news media agencies really like to separate people based on race and ethnicity and gender don’t they…and make a point to point it out. People should be able to start a business without a label of “first (insert race card or gender card here to make everything about race or gender)”. I view them as People….people who started a wine business. Apparently that’s too difficult for news agencies.
Who cares?
I don't care
It's fantastic to see a fellow Oregonian living the American dream.
Man they must be in the hole so hard, wine making is a rough biz. Cant wait to try their wine, must have taken a lot of sacrifice
Haters will hate. It takes work to do that, and the fact they are Korean American is a plus. Congrats!
