One thing I don't understand is why retain Ruturaj? I agree he has had a couple of breakthrough seasons, but remember what happened with Krunal Pandya. MI got him for base price in 2016, he had 2 brilliant seasons, then they retained him for a huge sum, and then he never performed well…
I do think MSD will be retained, but don't be surprised if he just plays for a season, and then retires, sort of like what RR tried to do with Shane Warne in 2011. Although this does mean CSK lose the chance to retain a lot of good guys like Curran, Chahar, Thakur, etc.
